12th Annual Bulldog Stomp Cancer Run-Walk (2020)
2020 BULLDOG STOMP UPDATE – 6/5/20
We have both sad news
and exciting news to share with our Bulldog Stomp family. Let’s start
with the sad news. We will be unable to
hold the 5k run/walk portion of our event this year due to concerns of
COVID-19. There are just too many what
if’s and unknowns and we would feel terrible if our event was responsible for
someone's illness. We hope to be back
next year better than ever.
The exciting news is
that we plan to hold a “drive through raffle” on the South parking lot
of Pardeeville High School on Saturday, July 18th from 9:00am-12:00pm (weather permitting - rain date is July 25th). This event is also contingent upon CDC
recommended guidelines for safety at the time of the event.
Maybe you are thinking
to yourself, what is a drive through raffle? This awesome idea was conceived by
student team members as a way to safely have a raffle and award the generous
raffle prizes that have been donated over the last few months in anticipation
of the 12th Annual Bulldog Stomp. Raffle tickets are $1
each, or 6 for $5 and can be purchased ahead of time beginning Saturday, June
13th at Carol’s Cones, 215 N
Main St, Pardeeville, WI 53954. Carol’s Cones is open Thursday-Sunday 12:00pm-8:00pm. Please stop in and enjoy some ice cream and pick up your raffle tickets. Tickets will also be on sale the day-of, as
cars enter the parking lot from E. Lafollette St. All
raffle donations will be displayed on a special page on our website (see button below) and final list of donations will be provided to
participants on the day of the event.
If
you are already a sponsor for this year's event, a representative of our team
will be contacting you with more information regarding your sponsorship. If you pre-registered for the run-walk, you
will also be contacted by a member of our team to discuss a refund.
We
are sad that we are unable to be with our community as we have the past 11
years, but we are hopeful for the future and for the success of this “new”
version of our amazing raffle. We appreciate your patience and continued
support during this difficult time. If you have any questions, or would
